HomeGoods is coming to 2901 W. Highway 74, Monroe, bringing its selection of home décor, furniture, kitchen essentials, organization products, seasonal merchandise, and more to the city. Let’s Go Monroe shared the news on Instagram, noting that the retailer will open in the shopping center with Target, alongside a new Ulta Beauty location also coming soon.
The forthcoming HomeGoods will join the retail lineup at Poplin Place, a shopping center along the U.S. 74 corridor. The center is anchored by Target and features a mix of national retailers and services, according to property information from Irgang Group.
According to HomeGoods website, the company is known for its constantly changing selection of home furnishings and décor. Shoppers can find everything from accent furniture, rugs, lamps, and decorative pieces to kitchenware, bedding, storage, organization products, candles, and seasonal merchandise. The retailer describes its stores as a treasure-hunt shopping experience, with new merchandise arriving regularly.
The Monroe store will operate under The TJX Companies, the parent company behind HomeGoods as well as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Homesense, and Sierra. HomeGoods operates locations across the United States, offering merchandise from a range of designers, brands, and manufacturers.
The addition comes as Poplin Place continues to expand its retail mix. Let’s Go Monroe reported that HomeGoods will be located near Target and the forthcoming Ulta Beauty, giving shoppers another destination for home-related purchases alongside beauty, fashion, and everyday retail offerings.
The new store will also give residents throughout Union County and surrounding communities another nearby destination for HomeGoods merchandise. Let’s Go Monroe specifically highlighted shoppers from Stallings, Matthews, Indian Trail, Waxhaw, Weddington, Wesley Chapel, and South Charlotte who will have access to the Monroe location.
A specific opening date for HomeGoods has not yet been announced. The retailer’s arrival adds another national name to Monroe’s growing retail landscape, with additional details on the project and opening timeline expected as the development progresses.
