Topgolf could join The Hub @ Everett, the redevelopment of the former Everett Mall, according to an announcement from property owner Brixton Capital.
Brixton said Topgolf is still planned for the southeast corner of the property at 1402 SE Everett Mall Way. The companies expect to provide additional details later this year as the redevelopment progresses. A construction schedule and opening date for Topgolf have not been announced.
“We remain excited and committed to bring our high-energy, technology-enabled golf entertainment experience to The Hub @ Everett,” Matt Smith of Topgolf said in the announcement.
The Hub @ Everett is being transformed from an indoor mall into a retail, dining, and entertainment destination with exterior-facing storefronts. The mall’s interior and food court are currently closed for renovations, while several stores continue operating.
Topgolf operates sports entertainment venues with covered, all-weather hitting bays that can accommodate up to six players. Guests rent bays by the hour, use complimentary golf clubs, and select from more than a dozen games that track and score their shots.
Each venue also has a restaurant and bar, allowing guests to order food and drinks while playing. Topgolf offers golf lessons for beginners and experienced players.
