Boot Barn plans to open a 20,028-square-foot store at The Hub @ Everett, the redevelopment of the former Everett Mall, according to an announcement from property owner Brixton Capital.

The store will occupy part of the former At Home space at 1402 SE Everett Mall Way. Construction is expected to begin in November 2026, with an opening planned for late 2028. An exact opening date has not been announced.

Founded in 1978, Boot Barn operates more than 500 stores across 49 states. The western and workwear retailer carries cowboy boots, work boots, western apparel, denim, hats, outdoor gear, accessories, and western-inspired fashion.

Boot Barn already operates stores across Washington, including a nearby location in Marysville’s Smokey Point area. The company is also preparing to open at The Marketplace at Factoria in Bellevue, as What Now Seattle previously reported.

Brixton Capital is redeveloping the former indoor mall into a retail, dining, and entertainment destination with exterior-facing storefronts. Boot Barn is one of the retailers included in the latest leasing announcement.
