The Picklr West Nashville is finally moving forward at 1101 63rd Avenue North in Nashville, where demolition has begun inside the General Shoe building. In a September Facebook update, the local Picklr team announced that the location is now under new ownership, has signed a lease, and has entered the construction phase. The club said renovation is expected to take approximately 90 days.
The project is expected to span nearly 35,000 square feet, according to The Picklr West Nashville’s announcement. The facility is planned to feature 12 indoor pickleball courts built for championship-level play, along with a full-service pro shop, community event space, locker rooms with showers, and an exercise area for warmups and recovery.
The new facility will also offer programming and amenities associated with The Picklr brand. The company’s official West Nashville location page lists court reservations, league play, tournaments and drop-in play, private event areas, a pro shop, locker rooms and showers, and sponsorship opportunities.
The opening timeline remains fluid. The local club said the renovation should take about 90 days, but The Picklr’s official website currently lists the West Nashville location’s grand opening as TBD, so no confirmed opening date has been announced.
The Picklr is an expanding indoor pickleball operator offering court reservations, leagues, tournaments, competitive play, clinics, open play, and events through its membership programs. The company’s current membership information states that its Unlimited Membership provides access to Picklr clubs nationwide, along with court reservations, leagues, tournaments, open plays, and other programming.
