Nimit Palace, a family-owned North Indian restaurant based in New Jersey, is planning to expand into Philadelphia with a new location.
Founded in 2010, Nimit Palace currently operates its flagship restaurant at 104 White Horse Road East in Voorhees, New Jersey. The restaurant specializes in North Indian cuisine and is owned and operated by Ashu Singh, who serves as owner and chief executive chef.
The restaurant offers a broad selection of traditional Indian dishes, including chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, tandoori salmon, paneer tikka, Afghani chicken, goat curry and lamb curry, along with naan and other Indian breads. The menu includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, as well as Jain, vegan and gluten-free selections.
Nimit Palace describes its approach as traditional North Indian cuisine complemented by original creations from Singh. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients and offers dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering services for private and corporate events.
The planned Philadelphia restaurant would mark an expansion of the family-owned concept beyond its existing South Jersey locations and bring its North Indian menu to a new market.
