Burger King is adding two new food options to its menu items ahead of the upcoming game day season. The new menu items will be available at participating U.S. restaurants beginning October 6. The chain will also launch a four-week sweepstakes with cash and Burger King-branded prizes.
Burger King Launches New Game Day Menu
According to an official announcement, the chain’s recent menu centers around new burger served on a pretzel bun and Chicken Fries paired with Nacho Cheese Sauce.
The first item is the Game Day Pretzel Burger. It features ¼-pound flame-grilled beef patty. It is topped with American cheese, crispy bacon, Nacho Cheese Sauce, and crispy onions. The burger is served on a warm SUPERPRETZEL Soft Pretzel Bun.
The second offering is Chicken Fries with Nacho Cheese Sauce. The item pairs Burger King’s Chicken Fries with a side of Nacho Cheese Sauce for dipping.
According to Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer of Burger King US&C, “Game day is about more than just the game. It’s about bringing people together over delicious and fun food – something Burger King is no stranger to. We wanted to bring that spirit to Guests with a menu that makes it easy for BK to be part of their game day and traditions.”
