A place where gold never sleeps is expanding in Tarrant. According to public filings, The Back Nine Golf plans to open a new location at 4200 Heritage Trace Pkwy., Suite 100, in Fort Worth.
The Back Nine Golf is an indoor golf facility that uses Full Swing simulator technology to track swing speed, launch angle, and ball speed, with most locations offering 24/7, staff-free access through a membership model.
What Now Dallas reached out to Reagan Bluth, franchisee of The Back Nine Golf listed as the tenant of the project, to inquire about the opening timeline, but he did not provide further details at this time. Permitting records list a construction completion date of January 2027.
Bluth is identified as a franchisee and co-owner of The Back Nine Golf in multiple Community Impact reports covering the brand’s North Texas expansion, including the 2025 opening of a Flower Mound location with four private, sound-insulated bays, and a more recent Southlake project, where Bluth said “golfers in the area have shown they want a private, high-quality indoor experience close to home.”
What Now has tracked The Back Nine Golf’s rapid national franchise growth in several other markets. What Now San Antonio reported on a new West San Antonio location targeting a November or December debut, and What Now Houston covered a new La Porte facility, noting that the brand’s existing Texas locations span Allen, McKinney, Frisco, Flower Mound, Denton, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Austin, Houston, Katy, League City, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa, among others.
