The foodtruck-to-brick-and-mortar pipeline has successfully launched many new area favorites. Addiction Smash Burger will be continuing the tradition when it opens its first storefront in the old home of Vibe Foods Superfood Bar, reports Daily Memphian.

Addiction Smash Burger owner Cesar Figueroa has submitted an application for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for 3139 Poplar Avenue. According to the form, the 1,247 square foot space will have an occupant load of 49 and will be “used as a restaurant primarily serving burgers, fries, and milkshakes.”

Addiction Smash Burger does not yet have an official opening date available but aims to be customer-ready within the next 6 months.

Addiction served its first smash burger in April of 2025. The food truck-which Figueroa intends to continue-has made a name for itself through its decadent burgers, of course, but has also garnered fans thanks to its rich milkshakes and chicken sandwiches.
