The Italian luxury fashion house FENDI is scheduled to open its only San Diego location at Fashion Valley in December 2026, according to a press release sent to What Now San Diego.

The upcoming store is part of a broader wave of retail additions planned for Fashion Valley, located at 7007 Friars Road. The center’s website currently lists FENDI as “Coming Soon.”

Founded in Rome in 1925, FENDI is known for its Italian craftsmanship, leather goods, and runway collections. What Now San Diego reached out to FENDI representatives for more details about the new store but did not receive a response prior to publication.

What Now San Diego has recently covered several other additions to the shopping center. This outlet reported that Lids plans to open a second Fashion Valley location in November, near Cafe Terrace, offering licensed headwear, team apparel, and fan-focused accessories.

What Now San Diego also reported that J.Crew plans to return to the center in November with a redesigned store featuring the brand’s signature prep styles, everyday tailoring, and seasonal wardrobe staples. Those openings are part of Fashion Valley’s broader retail pipeline, which includes brands across fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle.

The center has also welcomed SKIMS, which opened its first San Diego storefront.
