Next year, Coastal Concepts Hospitality, the company behind restaurants like the Grumpy Monk and South Coast Beer Project, will launch a new “music-inspired cafe and club” in Myrtle Beach, according to coverage by the Post and Courier.

Joining Broadway at the Beach, Southern Social will bring musical artists and “quality dining” together, offering, as co-owner Chris Evans says in the Post and Courier coverage, “one destination where people can enjoy a nice meal and then stay for entertainment—all under one roof.”

Southern Social is expected to replace American Tap House at 1320 Celebrity Circle.

There, it will join a restaurant lineup that includes Good Time Charley’s, Señor Frogs, Wet Willie’s, and more. Across the water is CCH’s The Grumpy Monk.

Specifics on the Southern Social menu appear to be under wraps for now, but stay tuned for more details as they become available.
