BODYROK is revving up to rock Downtown Summerlin with a new Pilates studio. According to the brand’s website, a new studio will open at 2375 South Town Center Dr., Suite 160, in early 2027.

“I fell in love with the location the minute I saw it. Downtown Summerlin exudes everything that we believe in, and we knew BODYROK would be a perfect fit,” Co-franchisee Jamie Kotsay said in an interview with What Now Las Vegas.

“The area has so much life.  I felt good just walking around and seeing all of the people.  It really feels like a community, and we wanted to be a part of it.”

Kotsay is opening the new BODYROK Pilates studio with her husband, Mark Kotsay, manager of the incoming A’s baseball team.

“I was born and raised in Nevada, so the move felt right,” Kotsay said.

“We decided that in moving here we really wanted to immerse ourselves in the community.  Fitness is a pillar in our family, and we thought there was no better way to immerse ourselves in Las Vegas than to share our passion for fitness, health, and Athletics, no pun intended.”

Kotsay’s interest in opening a BODYROK in the region was actually sparked at a class.

“My daughter, Sienna, took me to my first class,” Kotsay.

“We began our BodyRok journey, and both of us fell in love with the energy and sense of community it provided.  We also loved it because we truly saw change in our bodies.  It became a staple in both of our lives.  When we decided to make the move to Las Vegas, we wanted to bring BODYROK with us.”

Jake and Tina Irion founded BODYROK in 2012 in San Francisco with Kim and Philip Palumbo as a high-intensity, low-impact, music-driven evolution of traditional Pilates. The Irions sought an active routine together and wanted an athletic, immersive alternative to conventional gym workouts and traditional Pilates. They developed a 40- to 45-minute hybrid fitness method that blends strength training, cardio, and core work on custom-designed, high-resistance reformers. Studios feature dark, club-like aesthetics with mood lighting and energizing music to emphasize an experience-driven brand.

“Our hybrid Pilates sequences will have you plank, lunge, squeeze, pike, jump, and push your body,” the BODYROK website reads.

“The BODYROK experience is designed to create more energy and increase your metabolism, working for you even after you leave. COME ROK WITH US!”

There are now more than a hundred BODYROK studios across multiple U.S. states and the UK.

“BodyRok is going to the perfect lounge, having a great Martini and listening to fabulous music with the best group of friends you have. It has energy, a good vibe, a solid workout, all in the confines of great people,” Kotsay said.

“Immerse yourself in our state-of-the-art 3-tiered lighting system alongside industry-leading sound. Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, providing guidance and modifications for every fitness level. The BODYROK experience is designed to increase your energy levels and boost your metabolism even after you leave. We are so excited to welcome you to our community!”
