Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is under construction near Costco in Murfreesboro, adding another fast-casual restaurant to the area around 1441 Beasie Road and Interstate 24. A construction update published by Murfreesboro.com reports that work is underway, although the project remains in its early stages and an opening date has not been announced.

Founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 2002, Freddy’s was established by brothers Bill and Randy Simon and their business partner Scott Redler. The company’s official website explains that the brand was named after the brothers’ father, Freddy Simon, whose values and love of classic American food helped inspire the restaurant concept.

Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers, shoestring fries and frozen custard. The menu on Freddy’s official website also features hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, patty melts and frozen custard desserts. Guests can choose from sandwiches, combination meals and sweet treats, making the restaurant a destination for both meals and dessert.

For now, construction is still in its early stages, and neither the construction update nor the company’s website identifies an opening date for this specific restaurant.
