Fantastic Smoothies is coming to 5431 Pacific Avenue in Tacoma, where brothers Anthony Smith and Adrian Broussard hope to open their family-owned shop in spring 2027, they told What Now Seattle.
“Fantastic Smoothies is a fresh, colorful, and welcoming concept centered around delicious smoothies, refreshing beverages, and convenient breakfast options,” the brothers said.
“The name Fantastic Smoothies reflects the experience we want our customers to have. We believe that great flavors, quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere can turn something simple into something fantastic.”
That idea also inspired the brand’s slogan, “Goodness Tastes Fantastic.”
The menu will include smoothies and açaí bowls, alongside coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and other morning bites. The team is still finalizing the menu.
“We wanted to create a place where people could enjoy something flavorful while starting their morning, taking a break during the day, or simply stopping by for a refreshing treat.”
Plans for the space include seating for customers who want to stay, a front service counter, and a separate preparation area. Colorful, fruit-inspired graphics on the storefront will introduce the shop’s drinks and breakfast offerings.
“We want customers to feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door,” they added.
The brothers also work together in music. Broussard records under the name A-Wax 1 Million, and Smith manages his music career. They said they entered his unreleased song, “Don’t Hold Me Back,” in the Timbaland Global Search competition.
Together, they are also developing a clothing line, EYI Brand.
“For us, entrepreneurship is about creativity, dedication, and building something meaningful that can continue growing over time,” they wrote.
Their ideas for Fantastic Smoothies extend beyond Tacoma, including a possible future Seattle pop-up. No location or timeline has been confirmed.
“For now, our priority is making our Tacoma location a success, but we’re always thinking about what comes next,” the brothers said.
The team is working through permitting and construction, which will determine the exact opening date.
