A new sandwich spot looks to be in the works in a developing area of central Florida.

Slapz Deli is the name of a planned new concept coming to 533 Cagan Park Avenue #309 in Clermont. This comes from a recent filing at the state level, and it is coming to a residential area on the outskirts of Metro Orlando. An opening date has not yet been set.

From the application, it was initially filed in October 2024. The listed owners of the project are Subra and Jasim Deeb, locals of Clermont. When contacted, the two were not available for comment.

The building is on the west end of Cagan Park Avenue, close to the major intersection of US Highway 27. This area is home to other concepts including Santiago’s Restaurant, Sarah’s Greek Cuisine & More and The Friar Tuck. This is a 45-minute drive southwest of downtown Orlando.

Although a menu has not been released, those stopping in can expect loaded deli sandwiches with meats like ham and chicken. What Now Orlando is awaiting comment from the Slapz Deli team..
