Smashed Burgers & Cocktails is preparing to open at 14601 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 110, with a soft opening expected in late November. Bill Momary, CEO of SoCal Flavor, told What Now Phoenix that the team is also planning a grand opening event for Tuesday, December 1.
SoCal Flavor LLC, identified as Smashed’s owner in Arizona liquor records, previously operated LaCo Smashburgers & Tacos at the same address. The company also owns La Cocina – Authentic Mexican Kitchen, at 32527 N. Scottsdale Road, which serves Mexican cuisine, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and combination plates.
LaCo opened near Scottsdale Road and Acoma Drive in October 2025. Its Instagram page now promotes Smashed and describes the restaurant as under construction.
The menu still posted on LaCo’s website includes Wagyu smashburgers, tacos, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, and loaded fries. Churro bites with ice cream are among the dessert offerings. Details about any menu changes for Smashed have not been confirmed.
