Founders Club by 24 Hour Fitness is the latest concept from 24 Hour Fitness founder Mark Mastrov, set to launch in the Las Vegas Valley soon. The new $10 million, 45,000-square-foot fitness destination will open at Canyon Lakes Plaza in the West Sahara neighborhood at 9200 West Sahara Avenue, according to a recent press release.

“I’ve spent my career building thousands of gyms in more than sixty countries,” Mastrov said in the press release.

“This location and facility in Las Vegas is something special. Every detail reflects what I’ve learned about what members are actually looking for today. Summerlin is one of the fastest-growing communities in the country, which makes it the right place to show what the next generation of fitness looks like.”

Mastrov’s new club is set to open in Summerlin in early 2027. Pre-opening memberships are available now, ranging from $59.99 to $99.99 per month. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.

“Founders Club is built around what Mastrov believes matter most: the right equipment, and plenty of it; a big open well lit space, at more than 45,000 square feet; classrooms and a recovery room to support well rounded training, and a variety of amenities that make the gym special,” the press release reads.

“It is designed for people who want to get after it, where they can train, recover and stay a while. The club represents a $10 million investment, including more than $1 million in recovery equipment alone.”

The brand new club will include 25,000 square feet of strength training, plus dedicated turf, glute training and group fitness spaces, elevated recovery amenities, including hyperbaric chambers, red light saunas, cold therapy and a full medical spa, social and hospitality spaces, including a juice bar, café, DJ booth and community programming like run clubs and recovery nights, and 24/7 access to it all.

“When I opened my first gym in 1983, the best part of the job was knowing the people who walked in every morning. My family and I have built Founders Club around that feeling,” Mastrov said in the press release.

“The people at the door should know you, there should be so much equipment that you never have to wait, and recovery and medspa are part of the plan. This facility has everything for the fitness enthusiast. It’s not too big and not too small, it’s just the right size.”

What Now Las Vegas reached out to 24-Hour Fitness General Manager Shadi Hashmeh and briefly chatted with Senior District Fitness Manager Thomas Banicky to learn more about the exciting new club. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

24 Hour Fitness has more than 235 to 239 clubs across the United States, but only one in Nevada. 24 Hour Fitness’s Founders Club is slated to be an exciting addition to the Las Vegas Valley’s fitness community.

Check it out for yourself when the Founders Club by 24 Hour Fitness debuts in West Las Vegas at 9200 West Sahara Avenue by early next year.
