24 Hour Fitness is slated to open a new location at 25322 El Paseo in Mission Viejo, taking over the former Buybuy Baby space, according to a recent post from 926OC on Instagram. The property is part of the Mission Viejo Center, a retail complex located west of Interstate 5.

24 Hour Fitness operates gyms offering strength and cardio equipment, functional training areas and group fitness programming. Depending on the club, amenities can include turf zones, basketball courts, lap pools, saunas and personal training. The company currently operates more than 235 locations, according to its website, with facilities and amenities varying by location.

The Mission Viejo property is approximately 36,000 square feet and sits within a shopping center anchored by Best Buy, with other tenants including Cost Plus World Market, Petco and Michaels.

An opening date for the new 24 Hour Fitness location has not yet been announced. Details regarding the club’s size, amenities, membership options and operating hours are also expected to be released as plans move forward.
