Sanford is getting another Indian dining option, with Desi Adda Indian Eatery preparing to open at 4670 International Parkway.
The restaurant is expected to bring together dishes from several regions of India, giving diners a chance to explore a broad range of flavors under one roof. Its upcoming menu is set to include biryani, curries, paneer dishes and tandoori specialties, according to the business’s social media announcements.
There is more to the concept than the familiar Indian restaurant staples. According to an earlier report by Business Debut, the owner is developing a quick-service format where customers will place their orders through self-service kiosks, with seating available for those who want to enjoy their meals in the restaurant.
The planned menu will draw from North Indian, South Indian and Hyderabadi cooking, alongside Indo-Chinese dishes and Indian street food. Dosas, idlis and traditional tiffin options are also expected, along with Hyderabad-style dum biryanis, tandoori selections and regional curries.
The beverage and dessert offerings are expected to include fresh sugarcane juice, lassis, faloodas, milkshakes and traditional Indian sweets. Business Debut previously reported that the restaurant was planning a menu of more than 300 items.
The owner is developing the restaurant in a recently built multi-tenant property near Foxtail Coffee Co. The project has also appeared in Florida’s city permit records, with plans first filed on October 29, 2026.
The restaurant is targeting an opening during the 2026 holiday season, with January 2027 as an alternative timeline, according to the Business Debut report. An exact opening date has not been announced.
