Reign Reserve Gym, an ultra-premium, invite-only fitness and recovery concept, is planning to debut in the Greater Houston region soon. According to a permit filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new fitness concept is expected to open at 10931 Ocean City Blvd.

The address sits in the Marwood Village neighborhood, also associated with the Boardwalk Car Wash subdivision/Fairfield area. The property itself is a standalone automotive retail/flex and commercial center, often noted near the Willowbrook Mall retail hub. It is registered as a commercial project development and is positioned near surrounding retail plazas and major thoroughfares.

What Now Houston briefly spoke with co-founder Alex Reyna, who was listed on the permit. Reyna confirmed the opening, but was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.

“A Higher Standard of Training,” the Reign Reserve Gym website reads.

“Defined by an elevated design, top-tier equipment, and a space to train, work, and restore.”

Developed as a luxury expansion of the prominent Houston fitness brand, Reign Athletics, the new premium fitness brand was announced in October 2026. The facility represents a shift toward a hybrid ecosystem that combines high-performance athletic training with sophisticated workspaces and recovery amenities.

“An extensive collection of premium fitness equipment from some of the industry’s most respected manufacturers, carefully selected to deliver an exceptional experience,” the brand’s website reads.

“A sophisticated space to focus, recharge, or simply enjoy a moment between workouts — with dedicated workspaces, lounge seating, and kitchenette amenities.”

Reign Reserve’s history begins with its co-founders, Abby Reyna and Alex Reyna. Driven by a shared vision to build a fitness environment that actively shapes athletic performance, they took a monumental risk and left stable corporate careers. Starting from scratch, they entered Houston’s competitive fitness market as personal trainers determined to build an elevated warehouse-gym community. By early 2026, Reign Athletics had grown into a massive $5 million, 15,000-square-foot flagship facility. It became widely recognized for its high-end equipment, including Prime, Atlantis, and Hammer Strength lines; 100-foot turf tracks; massive 200lb dumbbell sets; and custom recovery layouts like an 8-person sauna.

After rapid growth and an intensely loyal community base, the Reynas looked to expand geographically and raise their service tier. While it departs slightly from the raw energy of the original warehouse model, Reign Reserve emphasizes elite curation. According to the Official Reign Reserve Portal, the space is built around three core historical pillars for the brand’s next evolution. The gym is currently building out its exclusive community via an invite-only early access list. You can find more details on the brand’s website.

Reign Reserve Gym is anticipated to open in the Marwood Village neighborhood at 10931 Ocean City Blvd by Spring 2027.
