Midtowners starting Wednesday can now walk to get their fix of pho.

Pho King, a restaurant that serves “Vietnamese classics with a modern twist,” is slated to open its Midtown location Wednesday, February 22, a manager confirmed with What Now Atlanta (WNA) on a visit to the original Buckhead store Tuesday.

And it’s about Pho King time.

The Vietnamese restaurant was originally slated to open its Midtown location in December, 2016.

Pho King Midtown is situated in the Publix-anchored condominium tower The Plaza Midtown, in space previously occupied by Dressed, at 950 West Peachtree Street. Dressed, a fast-casual salad concept, closed its doors July 2016 for “renovations,” but never reopened.

This will be the second Pho King in Atlanta. Owner Khoa Vuong opened the first in Buckhead mid-2015.

The space is situated between J. Christopher’s and the recently-opened Pita Pit. Pho King Midtown also joins restaurants Marlow’s Tavern and Steel in The Plaza Midtown.

  • So – how does this place compare to Pho Dai Loi #2. Because if it’s 80% as good for the same price, I’m there at least 2x per week.
