Jake’s Ice Cream could start slinging summer treats from its new home as early as mid-June.

East Point will soon be home to Jake’s Ice Cream.

The ice cream parlor is taking a 200-square-foot space, at 1650 Washington Road, and is slated to open mid-June, Jake Rothschild, founder of Jake’s Ice Cream, in an email Thursday told What Now Atlanta.

The East Point outpost would be the company’s second location. The first is situated in Irwin Street Market, a Beltline-adjacent center also founded by Rothschild.

Rothschild and his team are in the process of converting Irwin Street Market, which will soon be home to Lingering Shade, into “Atlanta’s first and only container village.”
