UPDATE (May 15, 2018): Arnette’s Chop Shop To Open May 24 in Brookhaven
Stream Realty Partners Tuesday announced the addition of Arnette’s Chop Shop at its Apple Valley Brookhaven (AVB) “creative office” development.
The restaurant, from Michel Arnette of Word of Mouth Restaurants, will join TheContinuon Services, LLC, the project’s first office tenant.
Arnette has agreed to lease over 6,000 square feet for Arnette’s Chop Shop, according to the announcement, continuing the success of his other Brookhaven staples: Haven, Valenza, and Vero Pizzeria.
The new concept will offer a “stylish alternative” to the traditional steakhouse coupled with a rooftop bar.
“We love this quaint but edgy enclave of Brookhaven. It has a collection of small industrial warehouses that are prime for commercial and mix-use development,” Arnette said in a prepared statement.
“Our mission is to bring an amazing dining experience to Apple Valley and hopefully expose the development potential that exists.”
The steakhouse concept will be designed by WJG Design.
Chef Stephen Herman will lead the kitchen serving up steaks like the Prime Midwestern and Certified Angus Beef chops and smaller-portioned cuts, sides, and raw bar selections.
“We feel that Brookhaven has established itself as a culturally sophisticated city that beckons for upscale neighborhood dining. Steak has always been a ‘staple cuisine’ in the restaurant industry. We feel we are the staple for cuisine in Brookhaven. We want to offer our neighbors a variety of dining options that keep them in engaged in their neighborhood.”
AVB, a “repositioned warehouse,” is now open and 20 percent leased with over 70,000 square feet of Class-A restaurant and creative office space.
Arnette’s Chop Shop is slated to open in early 2018.
