First-time restaurateur Zhao Wang has plans to launch The PokeSpot downtown.

The quick-service poke restaurant will replace LaVazza Coffee in the 200 Peachtree building, Wang Thursday told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone interview.

Representatives for the coffee shop were not available when reached by WNA for comment.

Converting the 1,500-square-foot coffee shop into the restaurant includes the addition of a kitchen, according to a permit application filed with the City of Atlanta.

Construction will cost an estimated $100,000.

Addition details surrounding the forthcoming eatery are scarce because “it’s too early in the process,” Wang said.
