Le Macaron’s owners are looking to launch new quick-service concept Purely in Midtown.

Purely would serve gelato, tea, and “bowls” in the now-shuttered Le Macaron space, according to signage at the Viewpoint Midtown locale.

The French-style pastry shop abruptly shuttered in September last year.

Trina Joseph, director of property management for Coro Realty, the company overseeing retail leasing for the Midtown condominium high-rise, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) this week the signage was premature.

“We’re still negotiating the lease,” Joseph said.

It’s unclear what kind of “bowls” Purely would serve, but the space at 855 Peachtree Street NE, sits adjacent the recently-open Vitality Bowls.

Owners of Le Macaron on several attempts by WNA were not reachable for comment.
