Mittie’s Café in downtown Alpharetta will close on February 25, 2018.

The cafe, located at 62 N. Main Street, has been open since 2003.

In a statement on the cafe’s website, owner Elizabeth Seago noted that the closing was “due to circumstances beyond our control.”

The statement indicates that Mittie’s Cafe will continue to operate its catering and private party services.

The team wrote, “we hope that you will continue to follow us as we take Mittie’s [into] the future. Please sign up for our monthly newsletter to keep informed of our new and evolving services such as catering, private parties, and our new Monthly Mittie’s Fix.”
