Blue Donkey Coffee, a local Atlanta company that both roasts and serves coffee, will open its sixth location this spring.
The company has applied for construction permits with the City of Atlant to build out space in a new Grant Park residential apartment building called the George.
Based in Atlanta, Blue Donkey Coffee independently sources coffee beans, roasts them in small batches and brews coffee at several coffee shops inside the perimeter and in Peachtree City.
In addition to the “roastery,” the team has locations at Georgia Tech, Piedmont Park, Emory University, the Piedmont Green Market and Peachtree City.
The new location inside The George will be across the street from Oakland Cemetery at 275 Memorial Drive.
According to a post on the Blue Donkey website, it will be “right across the street from Daddy D’z. A Your Pie Pizza and Farm Burger will be right next to [the new location]!”
