Oak Hall Companies this summer will break ground on Vernon, a 20 new-home community in Ormewood Park on Vernon Avenue and Berne Street.

The developer’s homebuilding company, TerraCraft Homes, will build the collection of cottages, single-family detached and attached homes designed within the “architectural context” of the Ormewood Park neighborhood.

“We were inspired by two key elements, the concept of pocket neighborhoods and the ‘missing middle’ housing choice in the booming in-town Atlanta neighborhoods,” David M. Smith, principal at Oak Hall, Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

“Attention to details will be apparent in the homes’ interior and exterior features, outdoor living spaces and the pocket park landscape. We will incorporate a variety of indigenous new plantings and trees throughout the property.”

The homes will range from 1,400 square feet to 2,500 square feet and targeted pricing is from the high 400’s to the low 700’s.
