Private real estate investment, acquisitions, and development firm TPA Group has acquired the 19-story Buckhead Tower office building adjacent Lenox Square Mall and connected to JW Marriot Hotel and Conference Center.
Under TPA Group’s ownership, the building will undergo “enhancements” following a recent overhaul of Buckhead Tower’s lobby and elevators, and a “reimagined” amenity space, according to a press release Wednesday.
Those enhancements have not been disclosed.
JLL will lead the leasing efforts for Buckhead Tower, at 3399 Peachtree Street, under Managing Director Adam Viente and Managing Director Jeff Frantz.
“Buckhead Tower is the perfect representation of a best-in-class, tenant-focused office space within its submarket,” Viente said in the release.
“With a highly walkable location immediately across the street from MARTA and a comprehensive amenity package driving leasing momentum, we are thrilled to be experiencing such strong demand and significant interest in the property.”
Earlier this year, Networx Systems relocated its North American headquarters to the building, where the company expects to nearly double the number of employees in its Atlanta office by 2020.
Buckhead Tower is currently 85 percent leased.
According to JLL’s Q2 Office Insight report, Buckhead continues to solidify its active footprint in Metro Atlanta as the demand for traditional, creative and adaptive reuse office remains energized.
Class-A vacancies in Buckhead have dipped below 14 percent.
