The Historic Commercial Center District will soon be home to a new coffee shop, FortBedlam, on Karen Avenue.

The café began building an online presence earlier this year in anticipation of a fall opening, but an opening date has yet to materialize. Details concerning FortBedlam’s menu are also unknown at this time, and the restaurant’s website lists its hours of operation as “TBD.”

Photos on FortBedlam’s Facebook page indicate merchandising like t-shirts and mugs and show a restaurant space that looks eclectic, cozy atmosphere with board games and the like at the ready for guests.

What Now Las Vegas reached out to co-owner Chris Connors by phone and email this week. Connors was unavailable for comment at this time.

The location at 900 Karen Ave falls within the Historic Commercial Center District, described as an open-air shopping mall famous for its variety of dining and retail locations, as well as for a history that includes famous figures ranging from Frank Sinatra to Snoop Dogg.
