After the success opening of its first location in LA, Nashville-style Hot Chicken restaurant The Red Chickz has announced a rapid expansion throughout the Southwest, according to recent coverage by RestaurantNews.com.

The Red Chickz will open its first Las Vegas location soon. This move is part of a wave of new outlets coming in the next 18 months, with 40 new restaurants in California, 25 in Texas, 10 in Arizona, and 10 in Nevada.

“Las Vegas, being the hottest city on earth, is always looking for a little more spice,” CEO Shawn Lalehzarian told What Now Las Vegas in an email this afternoon, confirming the news.

The burgeoning hot chicken chain, about to grow from one location to more than 80, serves a simple menu of chicken sandwiches, with variations like original and chipotle, along with tenders, fried shrimp, and Chickz N Waffles. The menu also includes Chickz and French Toast and a French Toast Sandwich.

“Everything about The Red Chickz, from the menu to the franchise management, is about keeping it simple,” Lalehzarian said. “Our chicken is all natural, antibiotic and hormone free, hand breaded and always made to order.”

The opening dates and addresses, in Las Vegas and in Nevada generally, remain unknown at this time.
