Aroma Latin American Cocina, a new restaurant from restaurateur Steve Kestler, will soon be bringing a selection of Latin American comfort foods Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson.

Kestler confirmed the news in a Thursday afternoon phone call with What Now Las Vegas, describing a menu of comfort foods for each meal of the day. For breakfast, a selection of Houston-style breakfast tacos in corn tortillas or French toast with dulce de leche. For lunch, dishes like ceviche and KoMex (Korean-Mexican fusion) tacos.

Dinner will not be available immediately upon the restaurant’s opening, Kestler said, but will be rolled out in the months following.

“[For dinner] we’re trying to do a little more upscale dishes,” Kestler said; for example, a six-course tasting menu. Guests can expect to see more seafood and more familiar Latin American sauces like mole on the dinner menu.

“We’re going to celebrate Latin American ingredients,” Kestler explained. “A little of Mexican, Peruvian, some Guatemalan.”

Aroma will also serve a selection of beers and wines, along with micheladas and sangrias, for a full dining experience.

The location at 2877 N Green Valley Pkwy, near the intersection with Sunset Rd, in a retail area anchored by a Terrible Herbst convenience store, is part of a small community of dining and retail locations that include Thai Chili and Elys Breakfast Restaurant and Burgers.
