The cluster of restaurants on Spring Mountain Rd between Red Rock St and Duneville St will soon welcome a new Vietnamese restaurant. Pho Gia Linh, opening there soon, recently put out an advertisement calling for applications from prospective employees.
The menu will be streamlined, featuring only about fifteen items, owner Minh Ngo told What Now Las Vegas in a phone conversation on Monday morning.
“We’re going to focus on the quality of the food,” Ngo said. “Rather than having a hundred items, we’re going to have the best quality.”
Pho Gia Lynh will offer familiar starters like spring rolls and egg rolls, along the popular pho, plus a few dishes that may be harder to find in the area. It will specialize in fermented seafood soup, and will also offer dishes like clay pot caramel catfish and spicy noodles.
The upcoming restaurant recently applied for a license to serve beer and wine on the premises as well. It will place its emphasis on a modern atmosphere.
“It’s going to be more modern compared to some of the other Vietnamese restaurants in Vegas,” Ngo said.
The location at 5808 Spring Mountain Rd is part of a cluster of dining destinations near the intersection with Duneville Street. Pho Gia Lynh will be in the company of restaurants like Hobak Korean BBQ, Jong-Ro Chicken, Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar, Saigon Baguette, and Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet.
