Grand Bazaar Shops is set to welcome Ole Red Las Vegas, a Nashville-born restaurant and country music venue from country star Blake Shelton in partnership with Ryman Hospitality Properties.

The new location is the restaurant’s first in the Western states. It will be located in front of Bally’s Las Vegas, on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Flamingo Rd. The building, to be built with an estimated budget of $30 million, will stand four stories high, with a main dining floor and two more guest floors overlooking a centralized stage. It will also feature a rooftop, where customers can eat, drink, and look out over the city.

Rather than reproducing the Nashville Ole Red menu, a new slate of Vegas-bespoke dishes and specialty cocktails will be assembled, inspired by Shelton and “infused with Southern hospitality.”

The space will also be a major country music venue.

“I know what it’s like to be a young musician playing bars and small venues, never knowing what to expect,” Shelton said in a press release. “I’m proud that we’re building a network of places where artists can get the kind of exposure playing live that is so critical for growing their fan base.”

Accordingly, Ole Red Las Vegas will be committed to fostering upcoming musicians, in addition to bringing in established country acts. The November 11 press release describes Ole Red’s “commitment to artist discovery and development by providing concert-quality production resources, promotion across the brand’s platforms, and the opportunity to showcase original music alongside country’s greatest hits to music lovers from the around the world.”

Ole Red Las Vegas is expected to open at Grand Bazaar Shops in 2023.
