Corner Bar Management, the group behind the successful Las Vegas entertainment venues like the recently-opened Peyote, will soon bring more live entertainment and drinks to Fremont St with Cheapshot, a new venue planned by the company. Paperwork recently filed with the city estimates a budget of $571,000 for a newly constructed venue space at 517 Fremont St, Suite 150.
Founded by Ryan Doherty, Corner Bar Management also operates venues like The Laundry Room, Commonwealth, the Park on Fremont, Museum Fiasco.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to Doherty on Monday afternoon. Doherty was unavailable for comment on the Cheapshot brand, described on the CBM website as “the little downtown bar where anything can and does happen.”
The Fremont Street space is part of a cluster of dining locations between N Las Vegas Blvd and N 6th St. These include Mexican restaurant La Comida; taproom Eureka! Discover American Craft; Flippin’ Good Chicken Chicken, Burgers, Beer; and Discopussy, another Corner Bar Management project.
No opening date has been announced for Cheapshot.
