The northeastern corner of the Spring Mountain RdEldon St intersection in Chinatown will soon be home to Nalsso Korean BBQ, a new Korean BBQ restaurant replacing Sura BBQ Buffet. Paperwork filed with Clark County details construction on suites 300-400 of the building at 4480 Spring Mountain Rd.

Behind the project is Jihyuck Hwang, the local entrepreneur behind Kanji, LLC. Kanji is the force behind restaurants like Jjanga Sushi (which originally went by the name Kanji), the collaborative project Sushi Time opening soon in Chinatown Plaza, and several other projects expected for Rhodes Ranch.

Little is known yet about the project. No information is currently available on Nalsso Korean BBQ’s menu, operating hours, or projected opening date. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Hwang and another contact at Kanji; neither were immediately available for comment.

In its Spring Mountain location near Macy’s Home and Furniture Store, Nalsso will occupy space in a building bookended by Thai restaurant Lamaii and elevated American restaurant Sparrow + Wolf. Also nearby are Ramen Sora, Roberto’s Taco Shop, and a PT’s Gold location.
