Red’s Beer Garden is opening its Banteen Park storefront along the southside BeltLine trail for the first time Friday, Jan. 17 at 11:30 a.m., Owner Kristen ‘Red’ Sumpter in an email Thursday told What Now Atlanta.

On the menu are the “best hot dogs and cheese balls in the ATL” and over 200 beverages including “beer from around the world or from a brewery down the road,” wine, cider, spiked seltzer, kombucha, and more.

Red’s Beer Garden falls within the Beltline Overlay District, at 1328 Boulevard SE, and received a Business Facade Beltline grant, now sporting a multicolored, lit storefront, designed by local artist Lily Reeves.

Artist Lacey Longino designed the hoppy mural inside Red’s, shown below.

An official grand opening event will be held Saturday, Jan. 25.

During the event, 10 percent of food and drink sales will be donated to Community Farmers Market, a non-profit “developing a local food infrastructure for long-term sustainability and meaningful community impact.”

Red’s will be open Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 11:30 a.mm to 9 p.m.
