Cape Dutch, the South African steakhouse from True Story Brands, Thursday announced it will close after dinner service Saturday, January 25.

Like its sister eatery Yebo Beach Haus, which is moving to a new Buckhead location later this year, Cape Dutch plans to bring its offerings to a new Atlanta location in the near future.

“We are honored to have been a part of the Morningside community and have truly enjoyed serving our guests,” Justin Anthony, owner of True Story Brands, said in the announcement.

“As the doors to our Cheshire Bridge location close, we invite guests to stay tuned as we’re actively seeking out a new home for Cape Dutch and look forward to serving the Atlanta community again very soon!”

Cape Dutch first opened its doors in fall 2015, serving a menu crafted around open-flame, wood-fired grill cooking.

“This skilled cooking technique not only concentrates flavors but also promotes the South African tradition of celebrating good times with family and community, which is at the heart of Cape Dutch.”
