Phenix Salon Suites is planning a location for the Edgewood Retail District shopping center.
The company will lease individual suites to salon professionals out of suite E 110, at 1253 Caroline Street.
Phenix Salon Suites’ 4,065-square-foot space will be adjacent Five Guys Burgers and Fries, according to the shopping center’s latest site plan.
The “salon suites” concept is currently in the early stages of permitting to begin its buildout.
When it opens it won’t be the only business of its kind in the immediate area.
Last year Salon Lofts opened in the Station R apartments across the street.
Jenny Nevle, the location’s franchisee, did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
Headquartered in California, Phenix Salon Suites has more than 200 locations nationwide.
Eight of those locations are in Georgia, specifically in the greater metro Atlanta area.
