Kennesaw is getting a new chain that prides itself on delivering “the last true chicken sandwich.”

Super Chix has signed a lease at Barrett Corners, a retail development on Ernest W. Barrett Pkwy NW led by D&G Development Group.

Gary Woodward of JLL (@wolfofpeachtreestreet on Instagram) helped secure the space for Missy Moon, an experienced Super Chix franchisee.

The Super Chix menu includes breaded and grilled chicken sandwiches in varieties like buffalo ranch, Nashville hot chicken, cordon bleu and more. (The “Simple” just has chicken and pickles if you’re looking for something classic.) Chicken tenders, loaded fries, fried pickles, coleslaw, salads and frozen custard with rotating flavors are also available.

There are currently locations of the Texas-based franchise in Peachtree City (the state’s first) and Dunwoody, with new ones coming to Marietta (expected to open this month) and Gainesville.

The fast-casual restaurant is part of Phase II of Barrett Corners.
