CT Cantina & Taqueria Expanding To Medley Development

Local Mexican restaurant brand CT Cantina & Taqueria is adding a new location to the area. It will join the Medley development currently under construction in Johns Creek, according to a release.

Rafael Jaime and his family launched the restaurant brand in 2019, drawing inspiration from Rafael’s journey of immigrating to the U.S. from Mexico at the age of 18 and cementing himself in the restaurant business over a four-decade career.

The 4,400-square-foot space at the Medley will feature a fresh design and will overlook The Plaza at the development. It will also feature a patio and a walk-up window for easy access to to-go food and beverages.

This location will join existing spots in Alpharetta, Dunwoody and Fayetteville, as well as one in Dania Beach, Fla.

CT Cantina & Taqueria is known for its street tacos, fresh margaritas and fresh corn tortillas and chips made on site. Co-owner Ricardo Jaime, Rafael’s son, told What Now Atlanta that the new location will largely stick to the existing menu, though there might be some local adjustments such as chef specials.

“Our dad loves growth. He loves service and attention to the customer,” Ricardo said. “We like to be in those live-work-play mixed-use developments that fit our concept very well. The overall vision is to continue to grow organically.”

Ricardo said they are hoping to open the Medley location late this year or in early 2027. The Medley development will launch with its grand opening in late October.
