Local Indian restaurant Tabla is gearing up to open its third location, bringing a spot to the Medley development taking shape in Johns Creek, according to a release. This location, which will join existing spots for the brand in Midtown and Buckhead, is expected to open this fall alongside the rest of the development, which has a grand opening scheduled for October 29.

This location will mark Tabla’s first suburban location, taking a space next to The Plaza at Medley. The space will feature an indoor-outdoor bar and will host street food pop-ups on the weekends.

The restaurant serves small plates such as veggie samosas, lamb chops, tandoori octopus and palak patta chaat. Other offerings include curry, biryani, and signature dishes such as tabla kofta and tandoori chicken.

The brand describes itself as a “contemporary ambiance mixed in with traditional cuisine,” according to its website. In addition to the food menu, Tabla also offers a unique cocktail program featuring Indian spice-infused liqueur.

What Now Atlanta has reached out to Tabla ownership for more details on the expansion.
