Atlanta’s already growing dining landscape is soon to witness new arrivals. A new lineup of six concepts was uncovered last week, expanding its culinary diversity. The list brings new openings and expanding concepts.

6 Upcoming Restaurant Openings in Atlanta

WhatNow uncovered several restaurant pre-openings across the metro area last week. Here are the concepts that are soon to open in Atlanta:

Swig

Dirty-soda brand Swig is opening its newest location in Lawrenceville’s Birch House. The location will be corporate-owned and is slowly expanding its footprint in Atlanta. The company has yet to share details regarding the opening timeline.

The Utah-based franchise brings its unique concoctions of soda, flavors, spices, fruits, and other ingredients with this opening. Swig is also known for its specialty drinks like Dr. Spice, Princess Peach, and This Bliss. Read more about the opening here.

Pollo Primo

California-style pollos asado is arriving in Atlanta with the opening of Pollo Primo. Owned by Omar Ferrer, the restaurant is soon to take over a 3,060-square-foot spot at Ponce de Leon Avenue. The opening timeline is yet to be confirmed by the restaurant.

The restaurant will seat 50 guests, offering delicious food with drinks like agua fresca and horchata. The menu features soup, rice, beans, and chips, alongside the pollos asado. Read more about the opening here.

Blue Willow

Blue Willow is ready to bring its Hunan cuisine from Midtown Manhattan to Atlanta. Taking over a 3,600-square-foot space in Inman Quarter, the new opening will mark the brand’s debut in the Southeast. The restaurant will join spots like Beetlecat, Little Spirit, MF Sushi, and VinoTeca with this opening.

The restaurant is known for serving regional Chinese-inspired dishes with spices found in Hunan cuisine. The menu offers hand-pulled noodles, roasted Peking duck, Chairman Mao’s Red-Braised Pork, and other items. Read more about the opening here.

Saints + Council

Saints + Council is preparing for another expansion, this time opening in Dunwoody. The restaurant will open in a 7,800-square-foot space at Perimeter Mall, along Ashford Dunwoody Road. Founder William Pitts is targeting a March 2027 opening for the location.

The concept is known for offering modern American cuisine in a space that offers comfort and refinement. The menu highlights braised, smoked, and confit meats. Read more about the opening here.

Amasa Mexican Kitchen

TQM Hospitality is bringing Amasa Mexican Kitchen to Alpharetta this summer. Located at City Center, it will offer a seafood-focused, gluten-free menu. The restaurant intends to act as a sister restaurant to Chichería Mexican Kitchen.

The restaurant will be designed to create a social atmosphere with communal tables and private dining rooms. The menu emphasizes blue corn tortillas and offers a dedicated tequila room. Read more about the opening here.

Last Dance

Atlanta is soon to welcome an exciting new concept built with multiple creative minds brought together by Chef Kathryn Fitzgerald. Last Dance is a farm-to-table concept that she hopes to open in May 2026. The restaurant is put together with three other chefs: Chef Joshua Fryer, Chef Patrick Daugherty, and pastry chef Chris Marconi.

The restaurant creates an eccentric cottage resembling New Year’s Eve in the middle of France. Its menu will offer liver eclair, lamb schnitzel, and whole fish. Read more about the opening here.
