East Atlanta spot Pollo Primo appears to have a new location in the works. Owner Omar Ferrer has filed paperwork with the NPU for a location at 863 Ponce de Leon Ave.

Pollo Primo is known for serving California-style pollos asado alongside sides such as soup, rice, beans and chips. The spot also serves drinks such as agua fresca and horchata.

The forthcoming location will take a 3,060-square-foot space and seat 50, according to filed paperwork.

Ferrer is a partner in other local restaurants such as Supremo Taco, Small Fry and Spina Pizza in addition to Pollo Primo.

Details regarding the opening timeline remain unclear. What Now Atlanta has reached out for further information.
