Viral dirty soda brand Swig is planning a location in Lawrenceville. It will open at Brand Properties’ mixed-use development Birch House.
The brand currently has no locations in the Atlanta area, with only one spot open in Georgia in Fort Oglethorpe.
The Swig location at Birch House will be a corporate-owned location. Further details regarding the opening timeline remain unclear.
Based in Utah, the franchise’s dirty sodas include concoctions of soda, flavors, spices, fruit and other customizations. Menu items include specialty drinks like Dr. Spice (with Dr. Pepper, cinnamon, coconut and half and half), Princess Peach (with Dr. Pepper, peach and coconut cream) and This Bliss (with diet coke, cranberry and fresh lime). Other Swig offerings include water-based Refreshers, energy drinks called Revivers and limited dessert options.
The brand previously announced plans to enter the Atlanta market this year, with corporate-owned locations slated for opening in Brookhaven and Toco Hills.
