The Metro Atlanta dining scene is set to welcome several new concepts. The openings will add a diverse mix of new dining options for local residents.
Atlanta’s Upcoming Restaurant Openings
WhatNow recently reported on several of these openings over the past week. The lineup last week included some new openings and some expanding concepts.
The Lawrence

The Lawrence, a new hotel opening in Lawrenceville this summer, will feature two new dining concepts. Bellfire and Old Nick’s are the two new restaurants.
Bellfire will feature Mediterranean and Southern-inspired cuisine. It will offer entrees including fish and grits, stuffed local trout, and grilled bison sirloin.
Old Nick’s is the hotel’s bar and lounge, which will offer craft cocktails, whiskeys, and small plates. More details on the opening are available here.
Pisano’s

Pisano’s in metro Atlanta with a second location opening in early July. The restaurant will take over a 1,500-square-foot space in Marietta Square.
The restaurant will also feature a stage for live music and karaoke, along with an outdoor patio. The menu will feature several varieties of pizzas along with calzones and sandwiches. Find out more about the opening here.
Sankranti

Sankranti is opening a new location in Buckhead later this year. The restaurant will occupy a 1,560-square-foot ground-floor space. The restaurant will also feature outdoor dining and will seat 43 people.
The concept is known for scratch-made curries and fast-casual bowls. The menu highlights include a butter chicken bowl, Mughlai chicken, a paneer tikka bowl, and desi tacos. Additional details about the opening are available here.
VIVA
Summerhill is soon to welcome a new taqueria called VIVA. The restaurant will take over a 1,800-square-foot space which formerly belonged to BOCA. It aims to debut in Summerhill this summer.
The space will feature vintage touches with modern twists. The menu will offer a blend of classic taqueria and Tex-Mex favorites. Read more about the opening here.
