Summerland Opens in Atlanta’s Upper West Market

Chef Anne Quatrano has opened Summerland, at Upper West Market on July 22. It is located at Collier Road and is named after Quatrano’s family’s 60-acre farm in Cartersville. It serves as the anchor restaurant for the new indoor market.

Summerland is a farm-inspired restaurant that offers a menu focused on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. It is led by Executive Chef Faye Poon, who has worked with Quatrano at several of her previous restaurants.

According to a RoughDraft Atlanta report, Quatrano shared her thoughts about Summerland. She shared how the space reflects her connection to the farm with family photos and memories.

The restaurant is located inside Upper West Market, which is a new year-round indoor marketplace in Atlanta. The marketplace is designed as a community gathering space rather than a traditional food hall. It is designed as a community marketplace that brings together local farmers, food producers, artisans, and retailers.

When fully operational, Upper West Market will feature more than 30 local vendors and purveyors. It will offer fresh produce from regional farms, specialty foods and pantry items, and retail products. The space will also offer local coffee, baked goods, chocolates, and prepared meals.
