SriThai is expanding with a location inside the perimeter.

The Thai and Japanese restaurant is in permitting with the City of Atlanta to open an outpost next year in Atlantic Station.

Nick Garzia, director of retail leasing for Hines, Atlantic Station’s newest owner, confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta (WNA) over the weekend.

“Bringing a unique mix of dining options to Atlantic Station has been a primary goal behind the property’s retail transformation,” Garzia said in a prepared statement.

“Adding SriThai to our restaurant lineup speaks true to our mission of bringing our customers the dining experiences they are craving, and we’re excited to welcome another Atlanta favorite to Atlantic Station.”

The 4,852-square-foot restaurant will be the company’s third Atlanta location joining SriThai Duluth and Snellville.

“With over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, we are excited and proud to continue our high standard of serving an unforgettable Thai and Japanese fine dining experience at Atlantic Station,” Winn Mekpongsatorn, owner of SriThai, said in a prepared statement.

An opening timeline has not yet been shared.
