The Hall, a growing food hall concept with plans to open several locations now through 2022 (including in Orlando, FL — renderings below and above), has Atlanta on its hit list. It is set to replace Henredon Furniture in Ashford Lane (formerly Perimeter Place), at 4550 Olde Perimeter Way, in Dunwoody.

Jamal Wilson launched The Hall with a location in Tampa in 2017 licensing space to restaurants while managing the front of house operations, according to the company’s website. Wilson and his team are currently seeking vendors. The Atlanta location, slated to open in early-2021, will house nine restaurants and a bar.

“Chefs and culinary artists are the heartbeat of our social connection, creating memorable experiences and meaningful conversations through creativity and delicious food,” Wilson said in a press release earlier this week. “The food industry has always been challenging to break into — we want to lower these barriers. There’s so much culinary talent available and we’re excited to offer an opportunity to help established and emerging chefs live their dreams.” Interested chefs can apply online.

In addition to collecting vendor applications, The Hall is “also providing pre-approved financing packages for talented chefs to join their top tier culinary talent with a vendor stall of their own,” according to the release.

  • This is awesome, hopefully will bring some life to this mall. It seems to need a boost.

Separately, any rumors going on about High Street? It looks like their Social-Media presence dried up, I’m guessing that’s not a good sign.
