A new seafood restaurant is preparing to open its doors near the Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sanford.
According to plan review documents submitted by Ocean Crabs LLC, a new restaurant called Ocean Crab will open at 2935 S Orlando Drive. There, it would replace the former WingHouse Bar & Grill.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the restaurant on Thursday. The representative said the opening is expected next month.
Currently viewable on Google Maps (although the address is listed as 2539 S Orlando Dr, a likely typo), Ocean Crab has already been given its first 5-star review. A Local Guide named Lenny Leger posted the review about two months ago:
“Wow! This location in it’s former life was a busy location, it’s demise was saddening. Now it’s time to breathe life into this area with delicious seafood and wings. I’ll drive past here 12+ times per week and every time, glance over in that direction, recalling the good times. Looking forward to trying the wings, and rip into a seafood boil.”
