Sweat EXT is planning to join Lenox Square, marking the second location for the brand, according to a recent permit filing.
The brand, launched by Sweat Cycle founder Mimi Benz, serves as an infrared heated fitness fusion studio that combines elements of Pilates, barre, yoga and HIIT training. The fitness studio emphasizes the benefits of heat in boosting athletic performance and burning calories. Sweat EXT’s hot room is between 89 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and classes aim to target flexibility, strength and mobility.
Sweat EXT launched in Los Angeles in 2023, and it expanded to Atlanta in late 2023, opening its doors at Ponce City Market. The Los Angeles location is no longer open.
As of now, the Buckhead location’s opening date has not been announced. Sweat EXT’s Instagram page lists the spot as “coming soon.”
